Igborize Team

Here are some of the amazing people that dedicate time and resources to our mission.

We would not however, exist without our awesome volunteers and gracious donors. So, thank you too for putting in effort and giving  funds towards our mission!

Kedu! So, I'm literarily the ultimate definition of an Igbo girl! I hail from Obazu, Mbieri in Imo State; My mum is from Nnewi, Anambra State; and I am married into Oji River, Enugu State!

Needless to say, I am proud of my Igbo heritage and strongly embrace it, from childhood, as is evident in my A1 grades in both JSCE and SSCE (Nigerian National Examinations) and currently, as an adult, with this mission to help empower Igbos worldwide.

I strongly believe that Igbo speakers and learners deserve to thrive as they boldly speak our language. This would help mitigate the UNESCO prediction of the Igbo language being headed towards extinction.

During the day, I manage fortune 500 projects (waterfall and agile); engineer solutions; innovate in the EduTech space; and most importantly, mother 3 amazing children! For fun, I love to spend time with my family, dance and travel... have been to, and learned a lot from, all 6 habitable continents! I do hope you decide to join and/or support our Igborize non-profit mission. O (ok)?

I am an Enugu ‘boy’ that was born in Italy. Spent most of my early years in Italy and subsequently in various parts of Nigeria but outside of Igbo land.

I however, visited my hometown very frequently and started driving myself there from my teenage years. I obtained a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering in the UK and an MBA in the US.

Currently, I am a DevOps engineer, in Tech, with a robust professional background in electronics, instrumentation, and automation engineering across several industries. The importance of one’s heritage resonates strongly with me and handling the operations aspect of Igborize non-profit is an honor.

On a personal note, I am married to the best woman on earth and we’re raising 3 children. I spend a lot of time watching soccer, playing soccer (physical and gaming), and teaching my children soccer (physical and gaming to some extent).

I am a versatile professional with a background in management consulting, political science, and information technology.

I hold an undergraduate degree in Political Science and International Studies from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte as well as a master’s in economics of leadership and management from Szent Istvan University.

My career has spanned across multiple countries, from defense procurement in Nigeria to working as an expatriate business analyst for Botswana's Government. I've held various roles, including campaign management, strategy, and field direction in both Nigeria and the United States and had the honor of being the Peace Ambassador for the African First Ladies Peace Mission.

Currently, I serve as an Information Technology Consultant for a leading bank in the United States.

Through all phases of my life, my core passion lies in promoting and preserving the Igbo culture through poetry, volunteering and teaching the Igbo language.

During my spare time, I enjoy playing soccer and savoring moments with my wife and two children.

Hey there! I was born in Nashville, TN and hail from ArondizuoguOkigwe L.G.A in Imo state. I moved to Lagos, Nigeria with my family as a pre-teen and shortly after, to eastern Nigeria to attend secondary school at F.G.G.C Owerri.

My time in Owerri was fundamental in helping learn and develop an appreciation for the Igbo language and culture.

I've spent several years in the non-profit world mentoring young girls in middle and high school and look forward to continuing this mission with Igborize non-profit.

In my free time, I enjoy travel, long walks by the water, and live music.

I am from Ehime Mbano in Imo State and raised by a sophisticated Nnobi, Anambara, mother. My  both parents made sure I was familiar with my extended family and I appreciate them for that. My mum also ensured my siblings, and I learned the Igbo language.

As an adult, I am more appreciative of my parents efforts especially as I speak Igbo and are able to build as well as maintain lasting connections. My hope is to help others appreciate their Igbo heritage and connect with other people within their Igbo communities.

I enjoy traveling and relaxing with a good book.

Ndewo! I'm from Orlu, Imo state and would be amiss if I don't mention my mother's village in Isu, Imo state that I equally love and spent some of my childhood.  I enjoy travelling and food adventures.

When at home with my two boys we enjoy watching movies as a family. I love instilling our beautiful Igbo culture in my children with hopes that our language and culture remains fully alive for their, and future, generations.

Impact and Development

Hello! I am from Isiekenesi, Ideato South L.G.A in Imo State. My mum is from Dikenafai also in Ideato South L.G.A. and I am married into Igbanke, an Ika community in Edo State. Yes, I took a long trip! My marriage has taught me that the Igbo language really does transcend beyond the ‘Eastern Igbo States’.

I look forward to seeing how we, at Igborize, will impact all of Igboland and beyond.
